Mallory Gabriel is a licensed mental health counselor specializing in trauma. He is a level two trauma specialist trained in accelerated resolution therapy (ART) located in Oviedo, just outside of Orlando, Florida. He works with adults, couples, and teenagers. He is experienced in treating PTSD and C-PTSD, as well as anxiety, depression, and relational issues.

Mallory believes that at any stage or age, all people have this in common: we have stories and are created for connection.  While life can be amazing and beautiful, there is a deep awareness and experience of brokenness and pain — in ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us.

Mallory believes counseling is an opportunity to enter into your brokenness and to find meaning, redemption, and ultimately healing and wholeness.  This therapeutic process requires courage, authenticity, and a willingness to be vulnerable.

Mallory holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Florida and a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University. He also attended seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and has several years of experience in ministry, insurance, and education.

As a counselor, Mallory has worked in both private practice and non-profit counseling. He served as the clinical director of a large church-based counseling center. He is a certified trauma professional, trained in accelerated resolution therapy, and a qualified supervisor.

For many, faith and spirituality is an important component of life. If you desire, Mallory can incorporate your faith journey into sessions, exploring how your faith can impact challenges and contribute to growth and healing. He is a Christian, but is happy to work with all types of faith and spirituality.

Mallory is married to his wife, Amy, and they have two teenage children. In his free time, he enjoys saltwater fishing, football, and biking. He takes full advantage of any opportunity to go to the Florida Keys.
